The theme of the speakers in Sacrament Meeting was good communication in the home. Good communication with our kids and our spouses. The resounding message was to communicate the tough stuff (issues, struggles, etc) and to communicate our love for each family member.
As I'm sitting here, on my laptop, checking blogs, facebooking & finding recipes for next week's superbowl, I got an email from Brielle. It says...
Hi Mommy!
I Love You!
(then lots of smiley faces...lots)
This may not be the kind of "communication" that they talked about, but I'll take her kind of "communicating" any day! It's nice to know that even an 8 year old can hear and appreciate what's said in Sacrament Meeting.
