October Review

It's been a month since my last post.  Shocking, I know.  I don't remember the last time I've gone this long without posting something.  Each time I logged on to the computer with a photo to post, I felt completly un-inspired. I wondered if it had something to do with the fact that I was bored with my blog design.  And I was right.  That's all it took.

Hope ya'll like the new look.  My husband thinks it's "plain" which to me, means boring.  I think it's more clean and modern. But really, whatever.  I'm back!  Now it's time to play catch up...

My birthday gift came a little early this year... an iPhone 5.  And yes, that's a personalized case with my name on it.  'Cause I like to roll with the cool kids, that's why.  And since I get lots of inquiries as to where I found such a super cute, custom iphone case, I'll just tell you now - www.Zazzle.com. You're welcome.

All the following photos were taken with my spiffy new phone...

Another soccer season is over (phew) and our team once again had a winning season.  Go Strikers!

To celebrate (and per Brielle's request) we took the team to Angie's to "Clean the Kitchen Sink" aka... eat a kitchen sink full of ice cream.  Yes, they finished it.

Fall Break took us to SLC where we found witches all over Gardner Village.  One witch in particular forgot to shut the bathroom door.

Glitter Eyes with Spider Webs.  Super Cute... but ridiculously hard to scrub off.  Brielle thought I was trying to take her whole eyelid off her face.  But I wasn't.

Finally, we ended the month with an RSL game.  It was by far, THE most boring game of the season, which I'm sure Chris was glad he missed. Wait... he's glad he missed the game but not glad that he was sick to have to miss the game.  Make sense?  Poor guy was home with bronchial pnemonia (eek).

The only thing we wanted more than hot chocolate (brrrrr, it was chilly) was a goal.  It was Vancouver for crying out loud!  Have I mentioned how much I don't love tie games?  But, the MLS playoffs start in just 4 days and our team secured themselves the second seed!  Whoot Whoot!  My expectations are high, being that I've invested in 2013 season tickets.

Unfortunatly, we'll have to miss the first few playoff games, as my work is sending me to Orlando for a conference.  I'm taking Chris and Brielle.  It's tough work, but someone has to go.
